I switched to black and white film when we reached the Black Sea. With hindsight it seems an odd thing to do since that was where we were going. But, not really, the Black Sea was only our destination. The point of the trip was to go there - to see the Balkans and points east. Unfortunately though, my record keeping for black and white film was not as good as for colour and sadly I cannot easily say which pictures are of Mamaia (or maybe Constanta) where we stopped first and whether any are of Varna in Bulgaria via which we returned.
