We met two guys from Britain at the Black Sea - one I would guess in his early 20s the other, perhaps, in his 40s. They were on their way home having been to Istanbul. We talked briefly about going there ourselves - it would probably have added only another day or two to the trip but no one felt strongly enough. Looking back I wonder why we didn't - I suppose it was a continent too far. (Anyway if my parents would not have let me go to Africa then Asia was just as bad.)
