Balkans or Bust - the story told.

Venice Crane. Pete was really keen to go to Venice - but James and I, who had been there before, unkindly told him it was overrated - a 'sewer' we said. After much barracking he conceded that he knew it was a sewer - but he still wanted to see it. Good for him.

It was rather nice, and seemed wrong somehow, to drive into Venice - and a bit of a surprise to come out of a multi-storey car park and very quickly be in a water-based city. We were however less enthusiastic when the guys in the car park insisted we left the car keys with them - and access to all our worldly goods.
